On July 1st, Janie and Jack opened a baby boutique at Redmond Town Center. I'm looking forward to selecting an outfit here for my friend's newborn girl (probably not pink, as most baby girls get inundated with pink presents).

We took a couple days off work and headed over Blewett Pass for a nice much-needed vacation in Eastern Washington.
We went to Manson, Washington, to Blueberry Hills for breakfast. It's an adorable place sitting above a U-Pick blueberry orchard. After eating, we couldn't resist taking home a blueberry pie (though the rhubarb was also tempting).
We rented a boat from Shoreline Jet Ski & Boat Rentals and spent three hours happily exploring the lake and getting windblown and suntanned.
On Saturday we headed into Wenatchee to do a bit of shopping. I'm addicted to stationery, so I was delighted to explore Pickle Papers. I picked up some Wooster & Prince Art Nouveau style writing papers, and some lovely French General label stickers.
We also went to The Gilded Lily and browsed their home decor items, gourmet foods, cookbooks, and baby clothes. I couldn't resist a Seda France candle.
Dinner was at Tastebuds, where we enjoyed fondue, a large cheese plate, and sparkling wine.
Sadly, on Sunday night it was time to return home to get ready for work on Monday morning!

Today at the Bella Bottega QFC I noticed several six-packs of the new Mike's Hard Pomegranate Punch. I couldn't resist picking it up. I didn't notice the other new summery offering from Mike's (Mike's Hard Mango Punch). I'm excited to try this drink this afternoon, outdoors in the warm sunlight, yay!
The Bellevue Farmer's Market is open again! It's on Thursdays (3-7pm) now through October 15.
Starting June 6, it's open Saturdays (9am to 2pm).
The Redmond Saturday Farmers' Market is open again! It will stay open every Saturday from May 2 to October 31. The hours are 9am to 3pm.

Can someone tell me if the crepe stand is back this year? Yum, I hope so!
I almost freaked out the other day when in Bellevue Square I noticed the Godiva store was closed. What?! No!!!
Turns out it just moved a few doors down. It's had a facelift - the gleaming golden wood look has been abandoned, and the storefront now has a fresh clean white look to it.
Their Mother's Day display is quite lovely, and includes this Godiva Keepsake chocolate gift box.
